The Community Centre Committee meets monthly. The Annual General Meeting is held within five (5) months after the end of the Association’s financial year (30 June) in the Supper Room. All community organisations which use any of the facilities owned by the Community Centre, are urged to have a representative at this meeting. All other residents are most welcome.

TIM STOKES’ MEMORIAL TRUST COMMITTEE
The Tim Stokes Memorial Trust is a fund established by Mount Compass War Memorial Community Centre and supported by the people of the Mount Compass district. The Trust has been established to commemorate the work of Dr Stokes among young people of the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula through an Annual Award to encourage further achievement by the successful applicant(s). The aim of the Trust is to assist a person from within the community of the Mount Compass district to the next level of achievement – academically, in sport, personal development or future career.

Any unwanted clean clothing, books, toys and miscellaneous item suitable for resale are welcome. Please note that bedding and furniture cannot be accommodated. Proceeds go towards the Tim Stokes’ Trust.

The Mount Compass Archive is located in the Old Projection Room of the Memorial Hall. A large collection of old photos and interviews with pioneers of the district have been digitalized and are stored there. Donations of historical Mt Compass/Yundi/Nangkita documents are sought. Visitors welcome by appointment.
