Services provided are confidential – name, address, services provided and conversations are private. Most services are free – donations most welcome and tax deductible. Services are available by ‘phoning or calling in, getting a friend or family member to call, through local doctor, community group or agency (eg school), Family and Community Services, church etc – you do not need a doctor’s referral.
GENERAL SERVICES: Personal Care, Foot Care, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Dietician, Diabetes Education, Mental Health for Adults.
OTHER SERVICES: Home Support (eg Respite, Personal Care/Shopping, Transport, Home Modifications – ramp, rails etc.), Dementia Respite, Women’s Health, Aged Care Assessment Team, Intellectual Disability, Community Visiting Services, Drug Diversion Services.
VISITING SERVICES: Arrangements can be made for other agencies to help. Staff from those agencies visit the Health Service on a regular basis – eg Mental Health for Children (C.A.M.H.S.), etc.
Some services attract a nominal fee.
